Admin Receptionist

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking an Admin Receptionist to join our People Experience (Human Resources) Department! This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Summary:

Admin Receptionist, performs a variety of technical and administrative duties for the People Experience (Human Resource) Department. Will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the front office reception area. Must have working knowledge of filing, computers, and office procedures with excellent customer service skills.

Location:

Administration Building 3rd Street and Osborne

Pay:

Starting $16.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

Provides clerical tasks and other duties for PE and Administration as needed.

Maintains professionalism, positive working relationship with agency staff and visitors, neat work area, and shows initiative in improving procedures.

Responsible for communication to customers and vendors. (receiving and announcing).

Answer and route all incoming phone calls to internal departments and staff.

Responsible for maintaining visitor log and providing appropriate information to visitors and callers.

Responsible for distribution of all mail including scanning to appropriate staff as needed

Responsible for acceptance and logging of all packages including notification to receiving parties

Provides screening of all calls; ability to identify needs of caller and direct accordingly.

Maintains staff and directory listing, as needed, communicating to intranet representative as necessary.

Responsible for creating and maintaining a training guide for front desk tasks

Scheduling of conference rooms.

Assist in providing new hires staff badges including creating badges for employees

Maintains high quality standards as related to the development, implementation and administration of guidelines, policies, programs and procedures

Distribution of bi-weekly payroll and vendor checks.

Attends regularly scheduled meetings, interdepartmental & otherwise

Attends required in-house training as well as position specific sessions for developmental purposes

To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 1-3 years of related, hands on administrative and HR support experience
