Warehouse PackagerNECIC Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Packager for 3rd Shift in the Wooster, OH area. The Packer under general supervision performs duties such as receiving, placing/ returning items into stock inventory locations.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Package bundles by placing metal strapping around the width and length of the materialProperly place paper corner protectors neatly to part specifications, to protect the customers' productUse packaging equipment to tighten the metal strapping around bundlesCheck parts to ensure correct size was producedResponsible for the use of material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders.Accurately move and stock products, materials, and various supplies into and out of designated storage areas.Interpret and anticipate material requirement needs at work centersEnsure that all inventory is maintained in a neat and organized condition and that the warehouse area remains clean and orderlyCan identify defects and package the designated itemsSupplemental Duties & ResponsibilitiesAny other duties assigned by Management.Required & Preferred QualificationsHigh School or GED EquivalentBasic Mathematics skillsAbility to read and write English LanguageAbility to understand and use Safety Rules and Procedures as well as OSHA standards and regulationsMust exercise a reasonable degree of judgment and possess the ability to recognize appropriate company policies that apply in each situation and follow themMust be able to read measuring tape and caliperAbility to lift/carry 50 lbs.Attention to detailWarehouse experience preferredMust have Forklift and overhead crane experienceExperience working with Heavy Equipment preferredSteel Toe Work Boots Required
