Vertex Technical Consultant

Job Description

Job TitleLead the design and development of complex Vertex customizations, including tax calculation logic, data mappings, and workflow automation.Architect, develop, and maintain microservices based solutions to enhance Vertex integrations and automate tax processes.Translate detailed tax and business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant Vertex and microservices technical solutions.Design and implement integrations between Vertex and ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Vertex accelerator), focusing on customization, microservices orchestration, and optimized data flows.Design of complex Vertex customizations, including tax calculation logic, data mappings, and workflow automation.Translate detailed tax and business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant Vertex solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to Vertex customizations, microservices, and integrations.Assist development team with integration of microservices & vertex tax engine.Collaborate with clients, solution architects and business analysts to refine requirements.Document complex customization workflows, technical specifications, and support procedures.
