Subcontract AdministratorDevelops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts, including preparing and issuing subcontract documentsEnsure subcontractors comply with contractual requirements, including terms and conditions, deliverables, and performance standardsBuild and maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersIdentify, assess, and mitigate subcontract-related risks, including performance, financial, and reputational risksResolve subcontract-related issues, disputes, or claims in a timely and professional mannerManage subcontract closeout activities, including ensuring completion of all deliverables, payment of final invoices, and obtaining necessary documentationEnsure subcontracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of subcontract information, including contract documents, performance data, and payment historyProvide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders on subcontract status, issues, and concernsContinuously evaluate and improve subcontract administration processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and complianceThis position supports our Special Operations Forces – Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.Basic Qualifications:Strong knowledge of subcontract administration and procurement principlesAdequate communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated ability to effectively work cross functionally with internal and external stakeholdersSelf StarterStrong problem-solving skillsDesired Skills:Experience with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)Experience with International Trade Compliance (ITC), import/export, and managing OCONUS suppliersExperience creating FAR/DFARs compliant procurement files up to and exceeding the Certified Cost and Pricing Data thresholdExperience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of major subcontractsPrior Cost Account Management (CAM) ExperienceExperience managing cost reimbursable subcontracts and earned valueWorking knowledge of SAP S4 HANA ERP systemPay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $65200.00 - $121200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
