Role Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work with a highly effective squad, developing quality and scalable data solutions within Client's Asset Management Technology (AMT) business. You will value how we work, be collaborative, and continuously seek to improve our engineering efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong Data engineer with Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL Scripting, python and database performance tuning

Solid understanding of ETL tools like Informatica and Data Warehousing like Snowflake

Strong data pipeline and modeling skills using Quantitative and Multi-Dimensional Analysis

Demonstrate understanding of data design concepts - Transactional, Data Mart, Data Warehouse etc.

Exposure to Cloud, technology modernization using APIs, Java based projects

Additional Expertise & Soft Skills: Proven experience developing quality data engineering solutions in the Financial Industry

Ability to independently analyze technical challenges, identify impact, and innovate solutions

Beginner proficiency in Java, REST API, and AWS (plus)

Passion for delivering high quality software using DevOps, CI/CD (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker)

Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM) is a plus

Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills

Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides worldwide technology to Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations. You will support data engineering solutions for Strategic Advisor Inc. and managed account products on a multi-terabyte data platform used for Fidelity's flagship mutual funds and ETFs.
