We offer talented security professionals the chance to accelerate their careers with opportunities to build experience in a wide variety of areas including cloud, devices, retail, entertainment, healthcare, operations, and physical stores.Key job responsibilities as an Application Security Engineer within ATG Security include:Providing durable, technical security guidance to mitigate identified risks.Reviewing existing processes and suggesting improvements for increased security and efficiency.Independently solving security problems that require novel methods or approaches.Embracing GenAI and the security challenges it brings, to guide builders in building leveraging GenAI securely.Participating in and supporting application security reviews that include threat modeling, code review, and security testing.Mentoring and guiding security champions embedded throughout the engineering team.A day in the life as an Application Security Engineer within ATG Security involves being seen as a strong leader who prioritizes well, communicates clearly and compellingly understands how to drive a high level of operational and strategic excellence within a team, while collaborating with a variety of internal and external business partners. You must show exemplary judgment in making technical trade-offs between short- versus long-term security and business goals.
