Upward momentum is huge - grow with the team and make a career with us!Primary Responsibilities:Checking for damaged goodsStaying aware of possible hazardsMaintaining forklift and other equipmentRecording data about the products they are movingComply with Sam Nutrition's internal food safety policies, as well as Responsible Importer Guidelines.Comply with Food Safety Plan set forth by state, federal, and 3rd party (HACCP, FAMI-QS, SF/SF etc.) guidelines.Maintains the cleanliness of the warehousePerforms special projects (Reworking/repalletizing 50 LB bags)Obtain product knowledge on the material in the warehouseResponsible for performing weekly inventory countsUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceComply with company policies and legal guidelinesHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Comes with a great attitude and a willing team playerForklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:Proven Experience as Forklift Operator,Attention to DetailFamiliarity with Industrial EquipmentExcellent Physical ConditionAbility to Lift 50lbs.Valid Forklift CertificationFood/Feed SafetyInventory ControlReporting SkillsAnalyzing InformationEquipment MaintenanceSoftware:Kuebix, NetSuite, RF Smart and scanners
