Job Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer – Web Application DevelopmentYou will own feature delivery end-to-end within your product domain — writing production-quality React code, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring our MFE applications are performant, maintainable, and secure. Responsibilities:Build and maintain React-based micro-frontend applications across cart, checkout, order management, and payment flowsIndependently break down complex, ambiguous requirements into well-scoped engineering tasksImplement responsive, accessible UI components aligned with design system standardsIntegrate with RESTful APIs and backend services to deliver complete end-to-end featuresWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain high code quality and coverageParticipate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive technical feedbackTake meaningful ownership of micro-frontend architecture decisions — module federation, shared dependencies, and deployment boundaries.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in rendering, state management, and data fetchingApply security best practices (XSS, CSRF prevention, secure payment data handling) in all frontend workSupport CI/CD pipelines and assist in maintaining build toolingWork within an agile team, actively participating in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectivesPartner with backend and platform engineers to design clean API contractsUnblock teammates through technical guidance and knowledge sharingCommunicate technical tradeoffs clearly to teammates and product stakeholdersMentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pairing, and documentationStay current with React ecosystem trends and advocate for adoption where appropriateBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)5+ years of experience in web application development with at least 3 years focused on React and modern JavaScript frameworksProven experience owning features end-to-end in a micro-frontend architecture with minimal guidanceProficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSSExperience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend servicesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesStrong communication skills and a collaborative working styleReact.js: Strong command of hooks, context API, component lifecycle, and performance optimization patternsMicro-Frontend Architecture: Proven experience owning and evolving module federation (Webpack 5) and MFE composition patternsState Management: Experience with Redux, Zustand, or similar; sound judgment on global vs. local state, including complex multi-step transactional flowsTesting: Proficiency with Jest and React Testing Library; experience with Cypress or Playwright for E2E testingBuild Tools: Working knowledge of Webpack, Rollup, or ViteVersion Control: Strong Git workflow skills including branching strategies and pull request practicesCloud/Hosting: Familiarity with AWS or Azure services for frontend hosting, CDN, and deploymentPerformance: Understanding of Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle optimizationSecurity: Awareness of OWASP frontend vulnerabilities, XSS/CSRF mitigation, and secure data handling patternsAgile: Comfortable in Scrum or Kanban environments with a bias toward shipping and iterating.Benefits offered:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
