Assembly Technician

Job Description

Assembly TechnicianAre you experienced in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment and looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? Join a rapidly growing semiconductor company as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling various electro-mechanical devices used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your ability to follow manufacturing drawings and use mechanical hand tools will be essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesOperate tools to perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.Make minor setups of equipment in assigned areas.Review production data to identify potential areas of non-conformance.Perform tests or quality checks on assembled units.Interpret drawings and identify needed modifications and improvements.Work under direct supervision.Essential Skills2+ years of recent mechanical assembly experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry.Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools.Visual acuity and manual dexterity.Ability to clearly explain experience from previous jobs.Additional Skills & QualificationsVocational or technical training preferred.Why Work Here?Experience a dynamic and friendly work environment within a smaller but rapidly growing semiconductor company. The position is a 90-business-day contract to hire (approximately 4 months).Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
