Production Cook - Poke, Roast Meats & Food PrepA locally owned and fast-paced food operation is seeking an experienced Production Cook to support daily preparation for a high-volume marketplace specializing in poke bowls, local-style plate lunches, and ready-to-serve food combinations.This position focuses on large-scale food preparation, including cutting fish, roasting meats, preparing vegetables, and ensuring ingredients are ready for daily service. Ideal candidates enjoy working behind the scenes in a production kitchen and take pride in producing quality food consistently.Job ResponsibilitiesCut and prepare fresh fish for poke productionRoast, slice, and portion meats for daily serviceWash, trim, and prepare vegetables and other ingredientsFollow recipes, portioning standards, and food preparation proceduresPrepare ingredients for poke bowls, combo plates, and grab-and-go food itemsMaintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standardsMonitor product levels and communicate inventory needsMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environmentFollow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulationsAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating productsQualificationsPrevious kitchen, production cook, prep cook, butcher, seafood preparation, or food manufacturing experience preferredExperience handling raw fish, meats, and fresh produce is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong attention to quality, consistency, and food safetyDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsTeam-oriented attitude with a strong work ethicSchedule & PerksFull-time opportunityEarly morning start times availableOvertime opportunities during busy periodsWeekly payStable, long-term employmentOpportunity for advancement within a growing operationPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
