This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing mechanical design efforts, guiding engineering projects from conception to completion, and ensuring timely, feasible, and cost-effective solutions. Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience, including product development.
• Strong project management skills; experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Manufacturing engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to incorporate all safety requirements into daily work.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with rapid product development techniques such as QFD, 3P, and cross-functional teams.
• PMP certification or similar project management credentials.
• Prior experience with research and development projects.

Preferred Education and Experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of product development experience.
• Prior experience leading mechanical design projects in a manufacturing setting.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to participate in occasional site visits or meetings in the manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
