The Warehouse Associate's responsibilities include picking, packing, scanning, and storing goods. They also maintain organization in the warehouse.Essential Functions:Picking out and/or scanning ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.Securely packing items in boxes or envelopes.Collecting order notes to fulfill deliveries.Securely shrink-wrapping items before placing them in envelopes or boxes.Operating handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.Tagging and labeling merchandise.Performing general warehouse duties as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Must be reliable, punctual and present each workday M-F, 8:00am – 4:30pm.Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner.Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours.Ability to follow direction from supervisors and work directly with other team members to accomplish daily goals.Basic computer literacy.Great team spirit.Experience in order picking, Carousel/Pick to Light system a plus.2 years of warehouse experience.High Diploma or GED.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times, at times from overhead locations.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.EEO Statement:Employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship.We are committed to an inclusive and diverse work environment.
