DevOps EngineerResponsibilities:Design and automate data engineering and compute infrastructure which enable collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of streaming and at rest dataEngage with the development team throughout the dev cycle to app is built for reliability/monitoringLearn from patterns of production incidents and develop remediation plansSetup and manage multi-tenant Kubernetes clustersSetup and maintain infrastructure orchestration and software automation systemsAutomate code/container based deployment and integration testingMonitor site stability, deployments, performance via event logging and metricsContinually improve operational practices and proceduresProvide direct support to development and data science teamsDevelop documentation and training materialDesired Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years of troubleshooting production incidents, conducting cause analysis and ensuring permanent closure of the incidentsMinimum 1 year experience with setup and management of multi-tenant Kubernetes clustersMinimum 1 year experience with code repository management and automated deployment via Jenkins/Gitlab pipelines, Docker Compose, Kubernetes Manifests, Helm, or comparable toolsBuilding log and metrics analysis and alerting systems (Prometheus, ELK stack)Very comfortable with Linux server command line toolsKnowledge of cloud infrastructure environments (especially Google Cloud Platform)Automated infrastructure configuration and application deployments (via Git-based Terraform, Ansible)Moderate experience using Bash and/or PythonContributed to a 24x7 production operations team, preferably supporting a highly available environmentsAny experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry a plus
