Sr Software Engineer / DevOps Work location: telecommute

Work hours: 9am-5pm

Summary of the project/initiative: Candidate will be handling stability of the Unica Systems, increase uptime and improve business operations. Perform support readiness activities. Handle initial implementation and setup of the application, that includes design and development of class structures, activities, flow rules, security, user interface and integrations. Deployment and release planning activities. Incident and problem analysis and root cause identification. Provide resolution for critical production issues without missing SLAs. Implementing DevOps tools in legacy and new development applications.

Team: 2 offshore developers

Top 5-10 responsibilities:

Handling stability of the Unica Systems, increase uptime and improve business operations.

Perform support readiness activities.

Handle initial implementation and setup of the application, that includes design and development of class structures, activities, flow rules, security, user interface and integrations.

Deployment and release planning activities.

Incident and problem analysis and root cause identification.

Provide resolution for critical production issues without missing SLAs.

Implementing DevOps tools in legacy and new development applications.

Ideal candidate background: Healthcare Marketing

Required skills/attributes:

2 years of IT DevOps experience

2 years of experience with Agile methodologies

2 years of continuous integration experience (for example tools like Jenkins)

Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Sitescope, BSM

Preferred skills/attributes: 2 years of Unica tool experience.
