Role Description

This full-time, on-site Construction Worker role is based in the Albuquerque–Santa Fe Metropolitan Area. The Construction Worker will perform hands-on tasks such as assisting with masonry work, constructing and repairing building structures, installing and repairing flooring, and supporting renovation projects in residential settings. Daily responsibilities include preparing and cleaning job sites, loading and unloading materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and following project plans and instructions from supervisors. The role also involves measuring and cutting materials, adhering to safety protocols, and coordinating with team members to complete projects on schedule and to quality standards. The Construction Worker will regularly interact with customers and colleagues, maintaining a professional and respectful presence on every job.

Qualifications

  • Experience in general construction, including basic framing, structural repairs, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Skills in masonry and related tasks, such as working with concrete, block, or stone for residential projects.
  • Knowledge of flooring installation and repair, including preparation, leveling, and finishing surfaces.
  • Ability to support renovation work, including demolition, site preparation, and coordination with other trades.
  • Capability to perform basic research on materials, methods, and safety practices to improve work quality.
  • Understanding of job site safety standards, personal protective equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Physical ability to lift materials, stand, bend, and work in varying weather and site conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior residential construction or home services experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within the Albuquerque–Santa Fe area.
