Accounting Manager

Role OverviewA prominent Real Estate Developer & General Contractor is looking for a driven Accounting Manager to oversee corporate accounting, project reporting, and financial compliance across active commercial and mixed-use buildouts.All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying.This role sits directly under the CFO and offers a direct path toward an Assistant Controller or Controller position as the firm's portfolio expands across Central Texas.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day general ledger operations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.Oversee lender draw requests, capital call management, and joint venture waterfall accounting.Manage a team of Project Accountants, AP/AR specialists, and payroll personnel.Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and banking/bonding relationships alongside executive leadership.Qualifications5+ years of accounting experience in commercial construction or real estate development.Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing small-to-mid size accounting teams.Experience with real estate/construction ERPs such as Yardi, MRI, Sage 300 CRE, or Sage Intacct. xhyhwjd Strong knowledge of GAAP, joint venture accounting structures, and draw management.Package$100,000 - $120,000 per year (depending on experience)Performance based bonus schemeHybrid working flexibilityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and paid federal holidays
