Job Description

Warehouse Associate (Day Shift)Rotating schedule 6AM-6PMEssential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Inspects and evaluates condition of cartons in warehouse and repairs where applicableCompletes inventory and restocks cartons and warehouse supplies where neededUses scanning device and computer as needed to perform tasksCompletes reports and documentation as neededReliable attendance at scheduled shiftsPerforms all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standardsPerforms all other duties as assigned or neededPosition QualificationsAttendance - Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time. Ability and willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy seasonCommunication - Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructionMathematics- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimalsLanguage – Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers. Ability to read and write simple sentencesDiversity Oriented - Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job typeRelationship Building - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and managementProductivity - Ability to maintain a level of production that meets or exceeds the established guidelines. Ability to work independently without interruptionsPaperwork Completion - Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately and according to established guidelines. Properly count, document or scan the number of units as needed by the function that is being performedPaperwork Verification - Ability to verify paperwork necessary to ensure product is repackaged correctly.
