Senior Application Developer

Senior Application DeveloperAll Native Group, a division of Ho Chunk Incorporated, is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support a Federal Agency enterprise data management program. Working within the SearchPlus and application development team, the Senior Application Developer designs, builds, and maintains enterprise web applications and search capabilities that serve a user base of approximately 12,000 and integrate with large-scale cloud data stores. This vacancy is for proposed work, and any offer of employment would be contingent upon award.Essential FunctionsDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using ASP.NET C# MVC and modern front-end frameworks.Develop and enhance application or enterprise search capabilities, including integration with ElasticSearch / AWS OpenSearch.Build and maintain decoupled application components leveraging message queuing.Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Angular.Support application integration with large-scale data stores and enterprise data warehouse environments.Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery.Troubleshoot, optimize, and document application performance and reliability.Competencies8+ years of software and web development experience.5+ years of ASP.NET C# MVC based web development using Visual Studio 2019 or higher.5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.Experience with Application or Enterprise Search; ElasticSearch / AWS OpenSearch experience strongly preferred.Experience with decoupled application development leveraging message queuing.2+ years of React.js or Angular experience.1+ years of ASP.NET Core experience using Visual Studio 2019 or higher.Experience developing against cloud-hosted, high-availability search clusters.Experience supporting federal or mission-critical enterprise applications.Supervisory ResponsibilityNone for this positionWork EnvironmentThis job operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership.
