Job Description
Part Time Tutor
Reports to: Building Administrator
Purpose : To supplement reading and/or math instruction to academically at-risk students
Qualifications :
Ability to relate to children with special needs; ability to provide instructional activities in collaboration with teacher
Some college training preferable. Minimum education requirements are:
48 semester hours which include core courses with an overall 2.5 or higher GPA from an accredited institution; OR
Associate Degree or higher with an overall 2.5 or higher GPA from an accredited institution; OR
WorkKeys testing in Math - (min score 4); Reading - (min score 4); and Writing - (min score 3).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide supplemental instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-5 to provide reinforcement of reading and/or math skills.
Collaborate with classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplements classroom reading and/or math instruction for academically at-risk students.

Completing the WorkKeys tests does not guarantee employment.
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: $16.55 to $20.55 Per Hour
