Safran Aircraft Engines designs, produces, and sells, alone or in partnership, commercial and military aircraft engines offering world-class performance. Safran Aerospace Composites in Rochester, NH is dedicated to the production of 3D woven composite parts, made using the RTM (resin transfer molding) process. The first application of this technology is the production of blades and fan cases for the LEAP (registered trademark) engine, developed by CFM International, designed to power the next generation of single-aisle aircraft. This technology creates less noise and decreases fuel consumption for aircraft engines, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with inventory control, material handling, shipping, and receiving related tasks. A Warehouse Associate holds a key role in keeping the warehouse and production flows in alignment/organized as well as supporting the other warehouse team members as necessary. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and works closely with all departments. Position will have key responsibilities in all areas of the warehouse.

This is a first shift position, Monday-Thursday, 6am - 4pm

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Organize stock and maintain inventory on production floor based on production needs. Including stock level verification, kitting, repackaging, system transactions and delivery

Verification of all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment to the stockroom/all departments

Inventory Control tasks, cycle counting, audits

Accurately and efficiently process and ship orders including shipping transactions

Transact, ship, receive materials and product in Safran's ERP system (SAP)

Receive all incoming materials

Assemble/select shipping containers and prepare items for shipping both domestically and internationally

Compare identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.

Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records and reports shortages and discrepancies and corresponds with shipper to rectify

Safely operate warehouse equipment

The expected salary range for this position is between $25 - $30 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Job Specifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years warehouse experience preferred

Ability to meet deadlines and to concentrate and pay attention to detail

Operate various material handling equipment – manual and powered

Interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with coworkers

Basic word processing skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. SAP experience a preferred but not required

Work requires: walking or standing over 50% of the time

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, approximately 20% of a standard work day

Working Conditions

The work is performed in a plant environment. Employee will be exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.

Personal Protection Equipment (including Eye protection, Safety shoes) must be worn

Candidates for positions with Safran Aerospace Composites must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.

Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.
