The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate are to provide excellent and knowledgeable customer service, work with management and other associates to keep the store stocked, clean and organized, and processing sales transactions.Company Summary – The LedgeThe Ledge is a boutique, beach style outfitter shop operating within Turner Ace Hardware specializing in fine apparel and footwear, paddle boarding equipment and fishing gear from brands like Olukai, Rainbow, Reef, Free Fly, Bote, Tommy Bahama, Pelagic, Costa Del Mar, Maui Jim and Rayban, to name a few.Major ResponsibilitiesProvide enjoyable, knowledgeable, and friendly service to our customers.Maintain awareness of our products, merchandise promotions and advertisementsBecome a brand expert for our products in order to elevate the customer experienceWorking with other store associates to keep our store clean, organized, and visually appealing.Processing sales transactions in a quick and friendly manner.Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance proceduresOther duties assigned by managementMinimum RequirementsMust be able to work a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings.Experience: previous experience in a retail/customer service environment preferredBasic computer skillsA commitment to service excellence and customer satisfactionSolid team player with excellent interpersonal skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand/walk for an extended period of timeMove and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the warehouse and store, which entails bending, twisting, lifting, etc. and perform all functions as set forth by the businessJob responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.
