Administrative coordinator

Job Description

Administrative Professional

We are looking for an organized, reliable, and people-friendly administrative professional to serve as the central point of contact for all back-office and front-desk operations in our therapy practice. This role is essential to keeping the practice running smoothly behind the scenes and supporting our clinical team, families, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Authorizations & Insurance Support

  • Manage therapy authorizations across payers (including Medicaid/MCOs and other plans)
  • Track authorization start/end dates and visit limits
  • Submit authorization requests and follow up as needed
  • Communicate authorization status to clinicians and leadership
  • Flag potential gaps or expirations proactively

Front Desk & Client Coordination

  • Serve as a point of contact for families, therapists, and corporate
  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally and warmly
  • Support intake, scheduling coordination, and basic client inquiries.
