Senior iOS Software Engineer

Location: Houston, TX - Onsite Downtown

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications for internal use within the oil and gas sector.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to enhance application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Develop applications for Drilling, Completions, Production, Facility, and Field Operations using the latest iOS technologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an iOS developer with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.

Expert knowledge in software engineering and iOS technologies, including Swift, SwiftUI, and other modern frameworks like Core Data and SwiftData, UIkit, Swift Package Manager (SPM), etc.

Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus but not required.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
