In this role, you will focus on building robust server-side logic, developing secure APIs, and managing data persistence layers. You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable microservices that power our core business platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Design: Architect and scale distributed backend systems that handle high traffic, concurrency, and data throughput.API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.Database Management: Optimize database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and manage data persistence using ORM frameworks.Security & Auth: Implement and maintain robust security protocols for authentication and authorization.Testing Automation: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and regression test suites to ensure high code quality.CI/CD & Cloud: Package applications into containers and assist in deploying services to cloud infrastructure.Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, memory leaks, and query bottlenecks.Required Skills & QualificationsSystem Design: Proven experience with distributed systems design, load balancing, caching strategies, and system scalability.Data Structures & Algorithms: Strong foundational knowledge of data structures (trees, graphs, hash maps) and algorithms to write highly efficient code.Core Python: Deep knowledge of Python 3.10+, handling async programming (asyncio), and memory management.Python Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.Databases: Strong proficiency in relational databases (SQLserver, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM/ODM tools (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).API Design: Proven experience designing clean RESTful web services and integrating with third-party systems.Build & Test Tools: Daily experience using dependency managers like Poetry or Pipenv, alongside testing tools like Pytest and unittest.Version Control: Mastery of Git for branching, merging, and pull requests.Company Benefits & CultureInclusive and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive health and wellness benefits
