ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO CHIEF NURSE EXECUTIVE
BOISE, IDAHO
Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be the right arm to our Executive Leadership team.
SUMMARY :
Provides administrative support for the Chief Nurse Officer.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree preferred.
Seven years of secretarial experience with five years at the executive level required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls. Uses independent judgment to determine priority and sensitivity of inquiries and responses. Frequently functions as a liaison between the President and internal/external constituencies, representing the President's availability, responses to messages and answers to inquiries.
Coordinates and attends Senior Management Team meetings and retreats. Prepares, assembles and distributes all materials, packets, agendas for Senior Management Team meetings. Board and its Committees as assigned.
Schedules/coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Anticipates needs of assigned Executives for various meetings, assembling needed background information and alerting Executives to needed preparation, issues to be faced and background of potential questions.
Maintains assigned calendars
Completes expense reports for multiple Executives.
lodging and travel as needed. Serves as liaison to all Board and Committee members as requested by Executives.
Organizes and attends Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Quality Care and Professional Practices Committee, taking minutes and keeping accurate record of business conducted.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Intermediate/advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written required.
Good telephone presence and the ability to deal with a broad range of people required.
