This isn't traditional maintenance – you're a technical owner who will:Build, test, and optimize robots that run continuouslyTroubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in autonomous systemsDevelop diagnostic procedures and predictive maintenance protocolsConfigure and calibrate sensors, actuators, and control systemsSupport field deployments and remote debugging of systems worldwideCreate assembly documentation and maintenance procedures as we scaleHelp iterate on hardware designs based on real-world performance dataInterface with our software and hardware teams to improve robot behavior and reliabilityEssential:2+ years hands-on experience with robotic systems, automation equipment, automotive, or similarStrong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skillsElectrical debugging capabilities (reading schematics, using multimeters/oscilloscopes)Experience with motors, sensors, and control systemsDetail-oriented approach to documentation and testingBasic Linux skills - comfortable with CLI, SSH, log files, and system diagnosticsBonus Points:Experience with EtherCAT lines, CAN bus, or industrial communication protocolsFamiliarity with autonomous systems and edge case handlingCAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)3D printing and rapid prototyping experienceBackground in production scaling or manufacturingExperience with 24/7 reliability systemsWhat Sets You Apart:You love taking things apart to understand how they workComfortable working on bleeding-edge technology with ambiguous requirementsStrong debugging instincts – you can isolate problems systematicallyExcited by the challenge of making robots work reliably at scalePride in craftsmanship and building things that lastWe're committed to building a diverse, inclusive team.
