Job Description

SQL Database AdministratorFulltime opportunity based in the Bronx.As a SQL Database Administrator, the ideal candidate would be responsible for the entire SQL infrastructure, managing SQL databases in multiple environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.Qualifications:5+ years of SQL database development experience (MSSQL Server 2008/2012/2016 & MySQL).Bachelor's degree and/or work-related experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field.Knowledge of relational database, data warehouse, and operational data store design that lead to support business intelligence solutions/applications.Any programming language is a huge plus.Any report writer software is a huge plus.Strong interpersonal skills – demonstrate a positive attitude, able to work effectively as part of a project team and foster team collaboration.Strong communication skills; written and verbal.Planning and time management are essential.Ability to model database flows using Visio.
