Job Description

The Office Supervisor has a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient administrative and operational support for our Final Mile delivery operations at the assigned location(s). This individual will oversee the daily administrative functions of the office, manage administrative staff, and provide critical support to location management. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, proactive leader with a strong understanding of the Final Mile industry and a commitment to maintaining a compliant and supportive environment for our team.

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership to the Admin team.
  • Manage and coordinate all daily office administrative activities, including managing incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Ensure Admin team has a customer first mentality and is resolving customer inquiries satisfactorily.
  • Ensure Admin team is route monitoring and communicating with driver teams to deliver a good customer experience, maintain on- time deliveries, and complete deliveries in full.
  • Ensure Admin team is supporting driver teams to meet and exceed customer and client expectations.
  • Partner with location management to achieve customer satisfaction and client expectations.
  • Oversee office supply inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce efficient office policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor administrative support staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment.
  • Address and resolve administrative staff issues or conflicts effectively and professionally.

Qualifications

  • HHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in claims management, logistics, transportation, or a related administrative role, preferably within a Supply Chain company.
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, processes, regulations, and support functions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with logistics software (TMS, WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach

Salary:

Up to $60,000/year base salary + Bonus Eligibility
