Job Description

Java Developer6 month contract to hire. Consultant can be remote during contract period, but expected to onsite once converted.Need to be very strong w/ Java, microservices, springboot, etc and ideally have solid cloud experience / exposure (ideally AWS).Hands on Individual contributorNeed to be onsite in either Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO at time of conversion to full time.Responsibilities:Responsible for design, development, deployment & support of the products he/she ownMake right technology decisions for the teamManage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements.Interact with the Business and Customer Experiences teams, facilitate working through technical implementationBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant field of study10+ years of prior experience Java/J2EE technology2+ years in Cloud Platforms - AWS or GCP or Azure5+ years’ experience with software development methodologies, 4D, Agile Scrum/Kanban6+ years working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Linux, Unix and Windows.
