Job Description

First shift, operating Monday through Thursday, with compensation ranging from $30.00 to $38.00 per hour based on experience within the packaging manufacturing sector.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to become part of a well-established contract packaging facility in Louisville. This position involves direct, multi-craft maintenance responsibilities focused on supporting our packaging and production machinery. We require a candidate with robust mechanical and electrical expertise who can independently resolve equipment issues and contribute to enhancing overall machine reliability.

Core Responsibilities Identify and resolve issues with production and packaging machinery

Analyze mechanical and electrical malfunctions to determine root causes

Maintain motors, gearboxes, bottling lines, fillers, and cartoners

Perform electrical diagnostics on 240V, 480V, and 3-phase power systems

Provide support for PLC-related technical issues

Execute both corrective and routine preventative maintenance tasks

Assist in the successful installation and upgrading of plant equipment

Handle general facility repairs as necessary

Contribute to the enhancement of maintenance standards and preventative practices

Required Qualifications Proven background in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting

Experience diagnosing electrical systems

Practical knowledge of 3-phase electrical machinery

Capacity to manage equipment repairs autonomously

Familiarity with PLC systems is a significant asset

Background in bottling, filling, or packaging machinery is highly preferred

Experience in GMP, food, beverage, or packaging manufacturing is a plus

Work Schedule Monday through Thursday

Typical hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Consistent four-day workweek
