If you are looking for a meaningful career, a culture of excellence, and the ability to make a difference, we want to talk to you!Titan Security is currently hiring Detention Administrators to work at a correctional location in Lincoln Park, Michigan.Prior corrections officer or law enforcement background preferred.The Admin for this position will work in a correctional facility setting and will be responsible for duties to include:Oversee and monitor the activities of the intake and release areas.Complete all daily information forms necessary in processing offenders in/out of the facility.Update computer upon arrivals/departures of offenders.Update count board upon arrival/departure of offenders.Operate Fingerprinting for incoming offenders.Ensure all arriving offenders receive appropriate identification, including ID and wristband.Responsible for completion of inventory of property for incoming/outgoing offenders.Properly identify each offender scheduled to be released.Notify necessary departments of pending incoming/outgoing offenders.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkAbility to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours.Must be able to regularly report to work without being late.Ability to be physically alert on any shift that is assigned.Work experience in a correctional setting is preferred.May be required to possess a valid state driver's license.Must be mature, flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of inmates or detainees and staff, philosophically committed to the objectives of the facility, and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.Pay and Benefits for Security Officers:Wages up to $18.00 / per hourPaid time off and paid holidaysOpportunities for career growth and promotionDirect Deposit/401KSkills-enhancing trainingEOE/M/F/D/V
