Technician - Quality Control - Beverages

Job Description

Quality Assurance SpecialistPay: $29.50 per hour Location: JACKSONVILLE, FL Work Days: Schedule Varies Based on Business Needs Start Time: 9pm End Time: 5am Sample and verify product quality to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, consistently, and to specification.What You'll DoPerform routine quality tests and use testing instruments to verify product and package specificationsPull product and packaging samples during production to confirm standards (e.g., quality, labeling, freshness dating, fill levels, and container integrity)Record test results and maintain daily quality documentation, communicating needed adjustments to help eliminate irregularitiesClean and sanitize equipment and work areas during and after shift, following process guidelines and good housekeeping practicesExpedite quality concerns to management and partner with production and maintenance teams to support efficient, compliant operationsMinimum Qualifications21 years or olderPosition requires lifting/carrying cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour periods (with or without accommodation)Position requires continuous standing and walking, manipulating and handling product samples while sitting (with or without accommodation)Preferred QualificationsExperience with audit compliance and food safety, testing instruments and standard operating proceduresExperience with mechanical systems including but not limited to cooling/ammonia systems and water treatment systemsExperience with product changeovers and equipment calibrationWhat to ExpectOn-the-Job Training: Learn the role through hands-on and classroom trainingHigh Energy Workplace: On the go for most of the day in a fast?paced, hands?on environment that involves lifting, bending, and moving product throughout your shiftHealth & Lifestyle Benefits: As a full?time team member, you'll be supported with competitive pay, meaningful benefits, and opportunities to grow a long?term career at PepsiCo.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
