This position will include filling customer orders in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring the quality of these orders meets company standards. Tools commonly used on the job include trays, dollies, pallets, trailers, forklifts, and pallet jacks; all of these tools must be used proficiently and in accordance with safety standards set by government regulations and company rules. Along the way, we provide plenty of opportunity to be creative and grow professionally in a fun, high-energy environment.Responsibilities:Assists with unloading incoming materials and supplies, checks and signs delivery slipsInspects and verifies incoming items against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goodsOrganizes goods received based on present and upcoming projectsMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store itemsCommunicates with warehouse manager on all shipments receivedTracking inventory level, cycle counts as necessaryWilling to work from 8am to 5pm, Monday thru FridayMaintain a clean and safe work areaQualifications:High School diploma or an equivalent.1 years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment preferred.Experience with forklift, forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.Able to operate a pallet jack.Proficiency in material handling and stock controlUnquestionable personal integrity and work ethicExtreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Basic Math SkillsAble to take initiative and work independently.Strong customer service mindset and driven to find resolution.Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Prefer a candidate with some computer savvyPhysical Requirements:Able to pass a drug check and background investigation.Able to read, comprehend, and follow documentation written in EnglishMust be able to lift 70 lbs safely over your head. To include standing, bending and kneeling as needed to perform this task.Able to sit and stand for long periods of timeEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Forklift: 1 year (Preferred, but not necessary)Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred, but will train the right candidate)Job Type: Full-time
