Job Description

Warehouse AssociateWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. This role involves the physical handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes, with weights ranging from 10 to over 100 lbs. The position requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending throughout the shift.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes containing files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Lift, carry, and arrange boxes without assistance while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and changes in elevation.Read and write English proficiently.Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.Operate handheld scanners.Climb and balance on ladders.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.QualificationsAbility to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.Experience with loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.Work ScheduleNormal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.LocationThis position is based in [City, State], offering a vibrant community and a variety of amenities.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
