Administrator IV (SUOAF)Under general supervision, provides technical support and assistance in information systems administration, problem resolution, system testing, development, integration, and security. Assists in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technical solutions to enhance information systems.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Incumbents are required to have demonstrated advanced knowledge and abilities in the following:Minimum four years of experience in design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support of information systems in an ERP environment, preferably Ellucian Banner.Hands-on experience with a currently supported version of a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or Postgres using tools such as TOAD or SQL Developer.Experience with one or more RDBMS development languages such as: SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.Experience in one or more reporting and analytical tools such as Argos, Cognos, PowerBI, or equivalent.Experience in one or more software development methodologies, data modeling, and best practices in software development.Ability to take ownership and manage moderately complex projects from start to completion.Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work with people of various backgrounds and at all levels of technical knowledge.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. They are expected to have excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.).Minimum Salary; $85,465 approximate annual plus excellent State of CT medical insurance, retirement, and related fringe benefits.
