Shuttle Driver

Job Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $24.72hr - $32.53hr

Requirement/Must Have:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate shuttle bus or passenger vehicles safely.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining logs and documentation.
Experience:
  • Prior experience driving shuttle buses or passenger vehicles preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport passengers according to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or detours.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
  • Ensure passenger safety, including adherence to capacity limits.
  • Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, using appropriate equipment.
  • Report any vehicle issues or emergencies to supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Should Have:
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and weather conditions.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
Skills:
  • Safe driving and navigation.
  • Customer service and passenger assistance.
  • Record-keeping and reporting.
  • Communication and coordination.
Qualification and Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
