About the Role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate the network infrastructure that connects Terabase’ s Projects, users, and cloud environments. You will own the health, performance, and security of both our enterprise/campus LAN-WAN footprint and our cloud networking, working as part of a distributed team to keep connectivity fast, reliable, and secure. This is a hands‑on role with significant influence over architecture and standards.

What You’ll Do

Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and campus LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN.

Architect and manage cloud networking across AWS/Azure— VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, transit gateways, VPN, and hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect / ExpressRoute).

Lead network capacity planning, performance tuning, and resilience/high-availability design.

Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and access controls in partnership with the security team.

Monitor network health using observability and monitoring tools; troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity, latency, and performance issues.

Automate network provisioning and configuration management using scripting and infrastructure-as-code.

Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and standards.

Respond to and lead resolution of network incidents, including occasional on‑call participation.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on network design decisions.

Partner with cross‑functional teams (security, cloud, IT support) to support business and project needs.

Nice to Have

Industry certifications such as CCNP / CCIE, or cloud networking certifications (AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate).

Experience with SD‑WAN networking and/or SASE Solutions

Exposure to wireless design and management (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki).

Hands‑on firewalling experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point), including rule management and policy design.

Experience operating in environments with compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, NERC CIP).

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
