Sr. Electrical EngineerRequired Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Active PE License 7-10 years of electrical design engineering experience Strong MEP consulting background with industrial/commercial projects Expertise in power distribution, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, telecom, and security systems Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, and electrical design standards Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM coordination/clash detection Experience with SKM, ETAP, or similar power systems software Strong Excel, client-facing, leadership, and project coordination skills Ability to travel up to 25%Nice to Have Skills & Experience Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Automotive, Distribution, Mission Critical, or Commercial facilities Mentoring engineers and developing engineering standards Energy code compliance and performance modeling Budget/schedule management Construction administration and BIM leadershipJob Description The Sr. Electrical Engineer will lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for complex industrial and commercial projects, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems. This individual will oversee engineering analyses, ensure code compliance, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules and budgets, support client engagements, and provide technical leadership throughout all phases of project execution. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 7-10 years of MEP consulting experience and a strong background in electrical system design for industrial or commercial facilities. They possess expertise in power systems, proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, strong client-facing communication skills, and a proven ability to lead projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
