DevOps Engineer/Configuration Management SpecialistOur client is looking for a DevOps Engineer/Configuration Management specialist. This is a 100% remote contract to hire position with a focus on Dev Sec Ops.Example of expected tasks:Setup an email handler such that incoming messages create a JIRA issue or commentApplication deployment analysis and defect resolutionGCP, GKE and Docker analysisProject management type work such as resource management, task assignments, schedules, business communication, and paperworkConfiguring Atlassian products such as JIRA workflow changes, application links, interface configuration, etcReviewing and improving existing documentationSetting up new GIT repositoriesWill be working on these or similar projects:Atlassian cloud migration: migrating their on-prem Atlassian product suite to the cloud versionsReview JIRA projects and users to determine migration pathBitbucket repositories will be migrating to a new GITHub environmentResearch peer review options to replace CrucibleRewrite Dev Ops scripts to work with the new cloud versionsKnowledge of UFT scripts and integrating with Jenkins builds and deploymentsAssisting with the buildout of new environments for existing applicationsAssisting teams with standardizing CI/CD methodology and adopting SAFE methodologyIntroducing Dev Sec Ops into existing Dev Ops scripts specifically with SCA and IaC
