Security Officer

Job Purpose:

- The Security Officer at MARC SECURITY SERVICES LLC is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors. This role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to deter potential threats. The Security Officer will work closely with the security team to implement security protocols and provide a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.

- Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities.

- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.

- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats.

- Assist in managing access control for the facility, including verifying identification and granting entry.

- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

- Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.

- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, offering assistance and information as needed.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to security and safety.

Required Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Additional certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.

Required Experience:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, or a related field.

- Experience in handling emergency situations and crisis management.

- Proven track record of maintaining safety and security in a corporate or commercial environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong observational and surveillance skills to identify potential security threats.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel.

- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and during emergencies.

- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
