Contractors role: The role will revolve around the building and supporting of the Snowflake processes as well as working with current application development team to drive superior business value, enhanced customer experience and compliance.Experience Level: Senior resource: 5+ yearsQualifications:Expertise in design/development in Snowflake on AzureExperience in ETL tools like SnowSQL from design/development and implementing data ingestion and processing pipelinesExpertise with the following skills:SnowflakeSQLPythonData AnalysisGood problem solving skillsNice to have: Datastage ETL experienceJob Description:Design and develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes Snow SQLDeep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches star and snowflake dimensional modellingExperience in designing and deploying virtual warehouse, schema, views, zero-copy clone in Snowflake cloud data warehouseWork with data analyst in mapping documents and design/build IBM DataStage jobs to the requirementsParticipate in peer design reviews and provide recommendationsEnsure runbooks are fully up-to date and consistently improving the efficiency derived from automationHands-on experience to improve operational stability via automation, such as auto-healing where possible, and raise design changes SMEs and/or architects, as well as opportunities to application /service managersWork some off hours as demanded by projects, operations, and need of the on-shore team and stakeholders, such as release, testing and/or critical bug resolutions
