Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of next-generation server and hardware solutions. This role will work closely with customers, manufacturing teams, and global R&D teams throughout the product development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support the development of next-generation server solutions.

Serve as an initial Research & Development (RD) point of contact for local clients, assisting with design requests and delivering daily feedback or technical solutions.

Assist in troubleshooting and handling production quality issues directly within customer plants to ensure prompt resolution and client satisfaction.

Execute design-based requests, including the rigorous testing, analysis, and debugging of mechanical prototypes.

Coordinate closely with the manufacturing factory to support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management as required.

Maintain clear, consistent communication and collaborate effectively with engineering team members based in Taiwan to ensure global project alignment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

A strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design.

Direct experience utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, with a strong preference for CREO

Practical experience or strong academic coursework working with sheet metal .

Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) processes, including concept exploration and hands-on prototyping.

A basic understanding of Project Management workflows, including structural planning and a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to accurately understand customer needs and proactively communicate when project hardships arise.

A general knowledge of current industry standards and technical trends is a big plus.
