Database Administrator Location: Milwaukee, WI

Position Type: Contract to hire

US Citizen, Green Card, TN, GC EAD and H4 EAD only. No Third-party agencies corp to corp.

Job Description Work with teams to improve both cloud and on premise databases by ensuring that data is secured and access according to established standards.

Plan, implement, support and maintain enterprise database management system environments

Design, implement and modify physical database structures; evaluate, test and implement database management systems, utilities and tools

Control the migration of database structures from the test environment into the production environment

Monitor and tune production processes

Coordinate database security requirements

Report on status of database security

Minimum of 2 years of experience administering databases

Experience in performance tuning

Proficiency in PL/SQL coding, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience in a high availability environment

Experience installing, upgrading, and patching databases

Experience maintaining database security standards for both on premise and cloud database systems

Ability to determine best ways to deploy and monitor security controls
