Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through closeout. This role coordinates daily project activities, including scheduling, subcontractor oversight, resource allocation, and progress tracking to ensure work is executed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. The Construction Manager collaborates with project stakeholders to manage budgets, monitor timelines, address site issues, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams. Additional responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing change orders, supporting quality control processes, and preparing regular status reports. While the role is remote, periodic travel to project sites may be required to support field coordination and inspections.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily construction activities.
Budgeting and Project Control skills to develop, monitor, and adjust project costs, schedules, and resource plans.
Construction and Construction Safety expertise to interpret plans, oversee field operations, and enforce safety standards and regulations.
Experience managing commercial, industrial, or similar construction projects, preferably in design-build environments.
Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., scheduling tools, document management systems).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on collaborative teamwork.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and travel to job sites as needed. xsgimln
Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
