Job Description

Warehouse PositionEducation Required: High school diploma or GEDSchedule: Day shift - 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday, overtime as neededTop Required Skills (Must be shown on all resumes):At least 2 years of warehouse experienceExperience on the receiving sidePrevious experience operating forkliftsComputer literate and adaptable to learning new systemsGood attendance and punctuality recordHiring Process: All interviews will be conducted in-personPrimary Responsibilities:Assist in shipping or receiving when neededRead appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shippedMove items to appropriate areasRecord amounts of materials or items moved into the computer databaseAssist in conducting physical inventories and cycle countsAssist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as requiredMaintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe mannerResponsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisorPerform other work-related tasks as assignedComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of OracleAbility to work with heavy equipmentCapability to learn on the job and applyEnsures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital buildsPerforms other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/SupervisorFacility/Group Specific Responsibilities:Strong knowledge of OracleAbility to work with heavy equipmentCapability to learn on the job and applyEnsures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital buildsPerforms other work-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/SupervisorEducation & Experience Qualifications:Reads and writes in EnglishTwo-years of previous warehouse experienceJob Requirements:Limited (less than 5%) travelMust be able to work a minimum of 40 hoursExposed to loud noise while in the warehouseExposed to moving parts while on the shop floorMust be flexible to work overtime when neededExposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither air-conditioned nor heatedBehavioral Competencies:Attention to detailWears proper PPE while in the warehouseCommunicates well with other employeesWorks well alone and in team environmentsAble to read and understand all JHA’s in EnglishAdheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety trainingAttends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning CBTTechnical Competencies:Able to operate an MSCA (Oracle) GunOperates both JIB and Overhead cranesMust be able to safely lift up to 45 poundsMay use other business systems (ERP/MRP)Uses office copier to scan and copy documentationWears a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heightsUses company software to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookWrites, sends, and receives emails to internal Customers / NOV EmployeesOperates Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker / Manlift / Reach truck)Writes, sends, and receives emails from internal NOV employees and external Customers
