Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the administration of material logistics in the central warehouse. She/he will be responsible for insuring timely turnaround on material requests, material receipts. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for Inventory control and administration of periodic cycle. Position responsibilities involve continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.Essential Job Functions:Receives inventory itemsPhysically locates inventory itemsReceives non inventory items per RMAsProcesses decommissioned inventory items returned from NetworkResolves receipt vs invoice conflict / discrepanciesProcesses standard and freight shipments thru shipping vendor's online portalMaintains shipping log details in each TransactionIssues inventory items to projects manually or automatically in Financial / Accounting softwareStages, reserves, & allocates inventory items per system requestsCreates and maintains inventory itemPerforms periodic cycle counts of inventory itemsPerforms periodic Physical Inventory (PI)Maintains and creates BIN designation inventory item storage systemOther Skills/Abilities:Valid drivers' license and excellent driving record.Basic Computer SkillsMust pass drug screening and background check.OSHA Fork Truck training and experience helpful.Experience/Minimum Requirements:One (1) to three (3) years of warehouse technician positions or equivalent experience.Previous experience in a warehouse and or purchasing environmentExperience with inventory in the Telecommunications/ISP/Fiber Optic spaceStrong MS Office and data entry skillsA High School diploma.Working Conditions:Position responsibilities involve continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
