Software Engineer 1/2 (QKS - 080)

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Minimum ofseven (7) yearsof software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Security Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing Java enterprise applications usingSpring Boot(or similar frameworks) andAngular(or comparable front-end technologies).

Experience designing and implementingRESTful APIsand integrating applications with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or other relational databases.

Experience with application modernization, including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and database modernization initiatives.

Experience developing, deploying, and supporting containerized applications usingDocker,Podman, andKubernetesplatforms (e.g., Rancher, Amazon EKS, OpenShift).

Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Persistent Volumes, Helm charts, and cloud-native architectures.

Experience implementingGitLab CI/CDpipelines, automated testing, DevSecOps practices, and modern software delivery processes.

Experience usingJiraandConfluencein Agile environments, providing database operational support, and working with XML, JSON, or other structured data formats.
