$2805.00/week - Job Summary: Perform diagnostic CT procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to safety standards. Responsible for calibration, quality control, and accuracy in administering radiopharmaceuticals, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic processes. Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment utilizing appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce diagnostic-quality images. Conduct daily calibration checks and quality control tests on all imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning. Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients per physician orders, verifying activity levels and proper receipt. Document all procedures, including logs, manuals, charge reports, and report equipment issues in compliance with regulatory standards. Follow radiation safety guidelines, including ALARA principles, performing safety and QA tests regularly. Prepare and retrieve patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology. Hold a valid New York State License (L.R.T) and ARRT certification in Radiography and CT. Possess at least 1 year of CT experience demonstrating proficiency in protocol execution. Maintain current BLS certification and comply with NYS DOH licensing requirements.
