Service Technician

Job Summary:

Acura of Avon, a reputable automotive dealership located in Canton, Connecticut, is seeking a skilled and experienced Acura Service Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Acura Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Acura vehicles to ensure they are running at their peak performance. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Acura vehicles
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain recommended repairs and provide updates on repair status
• Continuously update skills and knowledge through training and education programs provided by Acura

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational school degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Service Technician preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
