Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibilities :

Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy.

Process OTC orders, fill prescriptions, bubble pack medications,fill bottles with prescribed medications,type and affix labels and complete all required documentation.

Process unclaimed prescriptions.

Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.

Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers.

Perform cashiering functions.

Maintain pharmacy files and inventory. Research and follows up on third party billing problems.

Qualifications :

Must have valid and active California Pharmacy Technician license certification.

Must have 3-5 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Independent Pharmacy Experience Preferred.

Must have Experience in Pioneer data entry, using Pioneer Rx Software processing system

Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.

Candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
